Onboarding Procedures are one of the key pillars of a streamlined Guest Management Infrastructure. The Onboarding Portal serves as the first point of contact for the Guest, allowing them to specify extra information, go through important documents, and watch any videos that you've attached.
Since first impressions are so important, it makes sense for you to customize the Onboarding Portal to reflect your company culture and aesthetic.
Let's go through some Advanced Onboarding Options to fully understand how the Onboarding Portal can be personalized.
π¨ Customizing the Onboarding Portal
Navigate to Settings > Expert mode > Customize onboarding to get started. You'll notice that there are three distinct tabs that can be customized: Welcome, Details, and Success.
1. Welcome
The Welcome screen will be the first thing your Guests will see during Onboarding.
Here's how you can customize it:
Start by clicking on the Welcome Header and entering the desired text.
βClick on the Welcome Title and enter the text that you want to be underneath the header.
βClick the Action button text and enter the desired button name.
βClick on the Welcome Screen Background, followed by the image icon to upload your own background design, or click the paint bucket icon to color it.
βClick anywhere within the blank space of the text outline to recolor the Text Background.
βIf you've changed your mind and want to remove the background you've uploaded, simply click on it to select it before clicking on the Return icon, which will be in the same exact spot as the Upload button.
π‘ Keep in mind that if you're working with a darker background, the color of the text can be changed to white when you're editing it.
2. Details
The Details screen outlines your company profile, allowing you to specify a Company Logo and any Privacy Policy/Terms & Conditions links that will be visible on the left side of the Onboarding Portal.
Here's how you can customize it:
Start by clicking the Image Section on the left side of the screen, followed by the Image Icon to upload your Company Logo. The logo will be added automatically if you've already uploaded it through Settings > General settings under the Onboarding header.
βClick on the Customize URL button right below it to specify separate links for the Privacy policy and GDPR notice.
βClick on the Your company name Header Text to specify your Company Name.
βYou can also click on the Background for the header to either upload a background or select a desired color.
3. Success
The Success screen is the final part of the Onboarding Process, which redirects the Guest to the Space they've been invited to. This is the right place to give any final instructions or simply thank the User for going through the entire Onboarding Process.
Here's how you can customize it:
Start by clicking on the Success Header and entering the desired text.
βClick on the Success Title and enter the text you'd like to see underneath the header.
βClick on the Action Button Text and enter the desired text.
βClick on the Success Screen Background, followed by the Image Icon to attach your custom background.
βClick on the Border for each element on screen to adjust its individual background color.
Once done, you can click Publish to make your changes active on the live Onboarding Portal.
β‘ Additional Actions
You can upload a CSS stylesheet to directly replicate a pre-created Onboarding Portal by clicking on Upload CSS in the top left corner.
The Color Picker Format can be customized at the bottom of the widget, allowing you to switch between the RGB Number, RGB Percentage, and HEX formats.
If you want to clean up the entire Portal and start afresh, you can click on the Reset button to return the Portal to its Default State.
π Final Results
Once you've saved your final design, you'll notice that the Background, Text, and Actions will look exactly as you've intended during the actual Onboarding Procedure.
The Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions links can also be found in the lower left corner of the Onboarding Portal.
